Introduction
When we study the power of God, it’s crucial to recognize the source behind it: the Spirit of God. Jesus emphasized this when He said, “… you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” (Acts 1:8). This power is from the Holy Spirit, often called the power of the Holy Spirit or the power of God.
Body
At a meeting, I felt God’s presence strongly and experienced the Holy Spirit’s touch. He said, “Yes – this is my power,” transforming my understanding. I realized I had sought His power without recognizing Him as a person.
The Holy Spirit has emotions, will, and intellect. He is our Counselor, Comforter, Teacher, and Advocate. Seeing Him as a person, not just a power, allows us to build a meaningful relationship. Without this relationship, we risk misusing God’s power.
Conclusion
How can we build a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit, recognizing Him as a person and not just a source of power?
